Between April and June 1994, an estimated 800,000 Rwandans were killed in the space of 100 days.
Most of the dead were Tutsis - and most of those who perpetrated the violence were Hutus.

A genocide still in the mind
She is Cairo, 12 years old, a Rwandan who experienced seeing her parents being hacked to death.
She is now back to Rwanda to revisit what had happened and what will happen.
